They did.I'll laugh if they introduce an auto save feature to stop people save scumming
Nah, I mean one of those features where they don't allow manual saves and as soon as you gamble, the game autosaves to remove the ability to save scum. A lot of modern games have been doing that over the last few years (well mostly ones with microtransactions).
gonna resist that.I'll definently be save scumming as I did in Shenmue 2. Keep Calm and Save Scum?
Who cares about save scumming? It annoys me that modern games, even outside of microtransaction reasons, are forgetting they are games and get uber serious with everything. You barely have cheat codes nowadays. If you don't want to do it then don't, simples.
You won't even need the option, really. In pretty much all cases coming to mind right now, auto-saves are kept separately to manual ones, so you can just reload those ones if you want.Im old school and i personally dislike autosaving. I hope its an option that can be disabled.
I just listened to the recent Metal Gear Mondays podcast where Ryan Payton talks more about his involvement with Shenmue III. For those who haven't heard it, Ryan confirms he's still an advisor, giving feedback on current builds, that Yu and co are absolutely putting everything they've got into the project despite roadblocks along the way (he cites building a new team, most of whom haven't worked together before). He says it's a Yu Suzuki game to the core -- it really has the vibe of the original Shenmue games -- that it's not going to be revolutionary likes those games were, and suggests there could be elements people may not like (like with the originals, I guess)...
He also knows how many Shenmue games Yu wants to make, but doesn't divulge that info It's a good listen.
