Dan knows a bit of Japanese; me, I know 50 words or so lol; I use 3-4 guides (each provides something a bit better than the other) and watch someone translate the story, after I've gone through it.
Honestly, of course the fine details are missed, but you don't need to know the language to get something out of the cutscenes; one can pretty much tell what's going on just by mannerisms and what actually happens. I just watch the translations, so that I can get the fine details and fill in some blanks.
Yen hasn't uploaded a new video in 4 days, so I'm not sure if he's actively playing the game still, thus it looks like I'm gonna have to find a random Twitch streamer and watch them again, like I did for Judge Eyes (which doesn't bother me).
Anyways, I just got Sujimon and am slowly building the database; it's like a pokedex! lol Already up to 65 enemy-types, I think and the first part of Yokohama (that isn't cut off until midway through the 4th chapter), I believe I have faced every single possible enemy that I can face, so far.
The substory involving the quizzes, was absolutely hilarious!
I need to complete it, but my phone died and I couldn't get the guide up in time, so I'll hit it up tonight.
Ichiban is at level 20 and I guess I should change my job at this point lol.
The best secondary character in the series, IMO; this is the first (and only, really) time Kiryu forms a
very deep bond with a secondary character and probably only Nagumo comes close, otherwise.
3 was written SO WELL to tug at your heartstrings and it really brought out/fleshed out each secondary character so well.
