Do you think it might be wise if Sega gave away Shenmue 1 & 2 HD on PlayStation Plus?

At the end of the day, the Shenmue series has always seemed like a risky financial proposition, and until Shenmue III makes everyone involved a lot of money, I don't think SEGA's attitude towards the series will change.

Have to agree. And this won' t happen unfortunately. Shenmue 3 will be good game for certain, and it might be even a fincial sucess but it won't earn enough Money to generate the interested of Sega .

I cannot blame Sega for their disdain concerning Shenmue to be frank. This game series was not a sucess for Sega. So they won't touch it that easily. The old Sega, that just throw their Money out the window to make things and then see what is happening without caring about Economics is long gone. The new Sega is more careful.

And as long Shenmue has not a Mainstream Appeal it is not feasible to pump Money into the series. Unfortunate for us fans, but that is the reality for now.
