General RGG Discussion

There are plenty of places in Tokyo to enjoy. Persona 5 does a good job of portraying that.

But I’d like to see more of Japan. Maybe Kyoto? Nara? Downtown Hiroshima? Nagasaki? Kagoshima? Lots of places to explore

I’m on Chapter 8 of Kiwami 2 right now. Question: are hostess clubs not available to visit anymore? Has all the hostess stuff been regulated to that management mini-game?
 
i finished Kiwami 2 today (trophy 62% / 100)

no you cant visit hostess clubs (as a guest) in this game. there are side missions and conversations for each platinum girl
in your Four Shine club if they reach level 10 but thats it.
 
So I am 50 hours into Yakuza 0, but only on Chapter 5... yeah... I think I have 70% of the sub stories done, and I have been holding up the main story line to do tons of side content, I am currently doing real estate royale and I dont think I have spending enough on ability upgrades and I am hoping I dont screw up this play through, but I have a feeling money starts coming REALLY easy once I progress a bit more so maybe im ok?

The real estate sidequest will give you more money than you could ever use in the game, don't worry about it.

Tashihiro Nagoshi says that the game will be available early 2019 in the west.

Got bored of the series after the 4th main game so the fact this is the same with some new mini games is a big disappointment for me.
 
Finally finished Chapter 5, wow the ending to that chapter really got me going, the suspense, the drama! So it said I made 2 Billion yen during Chapter 5! I am sitting on at least 350 million actively on hand now and I am buying real estate as fast as possible now that the money flow is coming, I was worried for nothing.

Anyway, there is one sub story quest line I am noticing is holding up a few others, the damn Maharaja dancing mini game one from Chapter 2 I REALLY suck at this mini game it seems and I am hoping they drop off so I can get the next Miracle Johnson sub story which takes place at Maharaja but its not activating I am assuming because I havent completed those other sub stories and there is ! on Maharaja. Does anyone know if those sub stories eventually fall off or their time frame ends? Or am I actually gonna have to practice the damn dance mini game and beat the Queen of Dance in Kamurocho? (I was able to get past the first couple of dance sub stories but she is much more difficult, Majimas too)
 
@AnimeGamer183 What a coincidence... Just finished chapter 5 as well. Also it is the first Yakuza game I'm going to finish till the end as I never really got too deep into the series before. Anyway, about the Miracle in Maharaja, did you see the cutscene with the same two guys talking about Miracle before heading to the Disco? If you did then yes, you probably have to beat all those disco substory challenges first because afaik substories don't really have an "expiring date".I suck at the rhythm mini-game too but after hours of trying to get good, I finally managed to beat Ogita. It's definitely one of the hardest videogame challenges I ever had, so I feel your pain.
