Considering the story of RGG Online and Ichiban's backstory in the first place, I guarantee that at least part of the story will take place in Kamurocho. PART.
I could see a flip flop of Kamurocho and Yokahama, ala Kamurocho and Sotenbori.
I don't really care about the battle system, as I can adapt to any style, system or control scheme; I've always maintained that if you cannot get used to a new system/scheme, you simply aren't a good gamer and you can go kick rocks (MDK2 and Fur Fighters got FLEECED back in the day, because they used the DC's face buttons for movement; not only did it work brilliantly, but people gave it 3/10s and 1/5s because, "I can't get used to this control system." Good for you, you suck, because I can get used to it no problem).
Sorry, rambling again.
I guess they figure, new character, new battle system. Perfectly cool with that; it will win fans back (the ones who don't like turn-based) if the execution is perfect, thus they should worry about that in the last few months of development and knock the demo out of the park, in order to show the detractors that it works and works well.
I'm just excited that we finally have a release date!
Any word on who is doing the music? I know they don't normally announce it right away...
Regardless, super glad to see this all coming together!
