There's a lot of buzz around Shenmue 4
he is a good, noble and moral human being, that is forced time and again, into situations and problems that he does not wish to be a part of, but because of his standing in the world, he must take up the reigns. The point of the series is to show that being a Yakuza is not this glamourous life of crime and grandeur, that behind all this are real, decent people, that made bad decisions and thus are now stuck in a life they don't want.
See, thats my pont. That's not the definition of antihero for me, that's why Kiryu it isnt. Of course we can discuss about Majima, but Kiryu...
And you forget Date San, that is the "good law" walking around, jeez, even Sawara san was in that "path" and she even shot the korean double.
Kazama? You mean that guy that wanted to let an entire korean mafia escape so they dont get kill?
By this I meaning there are certain characters "washed". Yeah SOMETIMES in very puntual occassiones they do something a liiiittle bad but because a bigger good, and they deserved that liiittle bad anyway, and they all have a good heart (even Majima). They are good people that just are in the yakuza because circunstances of life, but if you put them down they will be doing a great service to the community. Now, being Yakuza, they are only doing a good service, not a great, but always trying to be better.
And the enemies (bosses) are just BAD PEOPLE. Happened in 0 with the clan, happened in Kiwami (Nishiki being corrupted) and it's kinda happen with Kiwami 2 (revenge).
You can clearly see the good ones and the bad ones. That's not antihero for me. Of course, the heroes aren't superman.
