I dont really have a problem with limited combat mechanics. I think i played Berserk Musou
(Berserk and the Band of the Hawk) for 100 hours and that game has like 5 useful attacks in the endgame.
You pretty much do two combos for hours and hours. I still liked it because i love the world of Berserk.
I care way more about setting, stories and characters and if the gameplay mechanics are fun.
They dont have to be complex to be fun and i dont really play games like Yakuza or Shenmue for the combat.
As long as its not completely broken its fine.
And i still like the Yakuza "PS3 engine", it looks good and feels great with 60 fps.
I have no problem with this "arcade look".
