I love that bit of the episode. Not sure if has played it, but I hope we got some Earthboundlike episode for Shenmue
 
Never heard of Tim Rogers before the E3 Yakuza videos. He's funny--I like his voice and style. Being appreciative of Japan, I wondered if he liked Shenmue. For being a Yakuza superfan, he isn't condescending toward Shenmue. He's not as super die-hard as us, so he isn't 100% accurate and I disagree with a couple things, but very minor so I still respect him (which sort of describes Kotaku in general for me, haha). The other commentator Heather is really great, too! Don't normally like to listen to these, but really enjoyed Kotaku's stream of I+II HD.

This and Cloud Bird Trail are my favorites for just relaxing. They are both absolutely beautiful. I recently moved after living in the same house for 16 years, and sometimes I'll pick one of them and play the extended version from Ziming's channel to help myself fall asleep at night. An honorable mention goes to the 'airing out the books' music.

I kind of wish the Cloud Bird Trail section of the game was longer.

I tend to feel the same with at least half of Guilin as I go along. Each successive area after another, haha. In fact, plenty of pining for a Shenmue 3--especially for Dreamcast--was an extension of loving disc 4 too much in such a short section.
 
Has anyone ever covered the song that plays when Ryo rides Nozomi home on Naoyuki's motorcycle?

I don't think I've ever seen one and its kinda surprising since its the Shenmue song that's most ripe for covering. Barring the vocal version of the main theme I guess.

I saw a cover on Youtube. Vocal line is not easy I guess and that's the reason. It will be great if anyone will make piano cover.

What happened when you went to buy something?
 
Well, I started right after the books and exited out of Xiuying's leaf catching. Went to various places, all the way to Aberdeen and back. When I arrived at the Tomato Mart she was standing there, no matter how often I left and came back.
I couldn't recreate the scenario when I retried those steps. Unfortunately I didn't capture much and had the resolution set wrong.

When I bought an item she was there at the counter, talking as usual and afterwards straight back to the shelves.
