Recent Gaming Purchases

So with my recent holiday haul20200106_212919.jpg
I've been really enjoying Control. Remedy is in my top 7 favorite studios. I use to go to the SPC foundation site all the time so this is just great story wise so far.

Unfortunately when I have a back log. I get severe A.D.D. and keep switching which game I play.
Tried a small bit of Deathstranding and am liking it so far. But am only 2 hours in. Also did the opening bit to days gone and Neir.

Now
Am saving a full attention run for Neir after I complete Control. I've been wanting to play Neir Automata for a long time.
We'll see when that happens... I keep on coming back to Shenmue 3. And will probably go to Yakuza 6, or maybe Resident Evil. 😜

Alan Wake (FINALLY)
Too Human (VERY minty)

After I'm done with Silent Hill 2 on my twitch channel, Alan Wake will likely be what compels me to finally hook up the 360 and stream my first play live.

The shop had 3 copies of a Sega/Platinum game called Anarchy Reins. Two were sealed... might buy one of them soon, but also saw they were on PS3, whcich I prefer for multiplats in every case except Fallout and Half Life 2.
 
Anarchy Reigns is a sort of sequel to MadWorld but not quite. Hard to explain. Personally I was a bit disappointed; MW felt very unique to me, whereas AR felt pretty generic as far as Platinum goes. It’s not awful, just not very exciting. That and I feel the added multiplayer kind of made them take shortcuts in the campaign.

I'm looking forward to Phantasy Star Online 2 later in the year. If I could just play a version of PSO in virtual reality my life would basically be complete.
 
Looking at a few of Bruce's earlier pics, is there any reason at all WHY they re-released the Digital Pictures games?

Night Trap I can totally see, due to being campy and fun, but Double Switch and REALLY, Corpse Killer?

Corpse Killer is deplorably-bad.

I just recently (Wednesday evening) purchased a Final Fight poster that will be going up in the game room, as soon as it comes in.

Also bought a bunch of games that I will post, once they come in :)

Seriously though, that SOR thing is brilliant.
 
Pretty much bought nothing for years until Shenmue III (other then the I-II PS4), and probably won't buy much, if anything until Shenmue IV.

Got my Yakuza Remastered Collection this week - Utter bliss! The whole series now accessible on PS4 - Delighted! About to begin Yakuza 2 Kiwami tonight.

Also got Attack on Titan 2: The Final Battle with all the DLC on disc! & FFXV Deluxe Edition on Xbox One... it was cheaps :p
 
Not to be a nitpicky prick, but the whole series is NOT accessible on PS4.

The mainline games, yes ;)

And you're missing one PS4 game :D

AND it's "Kiwami 2", not, "2 Kiwami."

I'll punch myself in the face for being an ahole now :$
