It's okay so far, a bit messy at times though. Some of the English voice acting is what I feared it would be. Ryo sounds okay, but I'm not a fan of Lan Di's voice, there is no mystery to it like in the games, he just sounds like a generic villain. The delivery of their lines feels off too, a bit rushed and unnatural. I hate Nozomi's character design too, it looks nothing like her.

It's an interesting choice adding scenes earlier than would come in the game, I'm not sure if I like that or not.

Japanese dub all the way here...sounds great to me. Sounds faithful to the original Japanese dubs.

Shenhua's reciting as Ryo makes contact with Chai. This is damn awesome.

How they progress the story beats in exchange for the Detective Dialogue is interesting

Wow. I loved it. Moving along at a good pace. You can't have the meandering slow pace of the games translate to an interesting anime. First episode covered a lot so hopefully the rest of the episodes keep the same pacing.

Man the pacing of this has been breakneck...very much unlike the games.
