Understanding why gamers won't like Shenmue 3

I don't know if all here saw/heard this. This is the song from Shenmue 1 motorcycle scene. All in Japanese this time though. I think she's still awesome even 18 years later. I hope she had a great career all these years in Japan. Golden voice!
 
There is also the civil war that Sega franchises seem to always cook up among ourselves for some reasons.

not an exhuastive list but these are some that I recalled coming across in passing off the top of my head.
 
That's not a Sega only thing, I've seen the same with Nintendo, Capcom etc. (any good developer really) where subsets of people get frustrated with the direction series take (like RE focusing on action from 4-6, with some people preferring the old style, and others liking the newer more actiony style).
Thankfully I'm capable of enjoying series without needing to pit them against each other!
