I think the total sales is not so high, but it might beyond SEGA expectation. SEGA did not give too much help to Yu-San, but Yu-San still finish the game and find a way to publish it. And this may be the key for SEGA to make an animation

At 3min30 their is an owner estimation

Being quite honest using Steam followers as an owner estimation leaves large room for error, discounts any Epic and doesn't include week 1 sales which were around 96k on PS4.

Also them saying it sold half the 1 and 2 re-releases is embellishing the truth a little. That was UK only and not for total life time sales.

That said they didn't rag on it too much so every cloud right.
