In the past couple of weeks, Shenmue III executive producer Cedric Biscay has been cryptically retweeting promotional material for the 2019 E3 PC Gaming Show, taking place on Monday 10th June. This has also been accompanied today, with his company, Shibuya Productions also tweeting out a post regarding the event.
Whilst we have had no confirmation from any sources that Shenmue III will be appearing in any public capacity at this years E, it’s very peculiar that the executive producer for Shenmue III is hyping the event, knowing the effect it will have on Shenmue fans. Logically, it seems he is telling fans to tune in to the show, so we will follow his lead, and also suggest you watch the event.
Let us be clear once more though, that we do NOT have confirmation that anything related to Shenmue III will be shown at the event, but it is still exciting to wait and see.
You will be able to watch the show live at this link – https://www.twitch.tv/pcgamer

In other news, Microsoft have announced that the Shenmue I & 11 Re-Releases will be part of their Xbox Gamepass subscription. The Gamepass gives unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games on Xbox One for one low monthly price. With new games added every month, June sees the addition of last years re-releases from Sega and d3t.
Whilst this is great news for Shenmue, it should be noted that there are still NO PLANS for Shenmue III to come to Xbox One. This has been reiterated by Shenmue III publisher Deep Silver, which you can read more about HERE.
