The whole "imagining the world as an RPG" is such a interesting idea that can lead to some wonderfully reality bending moments, I kinda wonder if RGGS will capitalise on it, or try keeping it still somewhat rooted in reality. Very interesting to see how that plays out.
As for the discussion on length and such, it sounds pretty crazy. So the game world is basically bigger than Kamurocho (which is pretty big really for the series, especially with all the stuff you can do) and then at some point (I assume later in the game, unless they are talking about the first chapter before he gets shot) Ichiban is in Kamurocho. Gotta wonder just how big the scope of the game story and content is. I'm not saying it'll be bigger than 5, but easily the biggest Dragon Engine game, maybe bigger than 0 as well? Pretty mad if true.
