I attempted to do it myself as well.


Rain, Light rays, shadows, reflections on water, and water animation. The rain is very subtle, look more to the right of the picture to see it better. The sun is more visible on the left, so the light passes through the rain so its harder to see


Animated Ren's bandanna flapping in the wind, as well as his hair subtly waving, lighting shadows, reflections on water animated water, sun rays. I am experimenting currently with trying to make the clouds more lively while working on a Shenmue 3 Forklift animation.

The foley realy adds to the atmos!
 
Marketing definitely seems like it's entered the 'soft' stage.

Lots of activity on the Shenmue 3 facebook. They just posted an open question today, which is more than they usually do (typically just regurgitating old media).

Koch/Deep Silver is consistently tweeting out Shenmue stuff, such as:
Seems like things are looking good.

Indeed and most of the responses have been positive. Lots of fan engagement is good to see.
 
Getting the overwhelming feeling we're gearing up to something now they're starting to push harder on getting the social channels active.

But what exactly, and where? Might be worth keeping an eye on some upcoming medium sized events. I know we're getting close to E3 where we all expect Shenmue to be present in some capacity, but I'm wondering if we might have another Reboot Develop Blue scenario in the interim.
 
That is a good question. Featuring the game in further gaming mags or websites till the E3 would be nice. And then a big E3 special of the game during E3. E3 and gamescom are the last chane to advertise the game as much as possible.
