probably not new but first i've heard about it. from a short clip, they can now fake your voice using AI.

great for projects where you want a celebrity voice etc, bad for crime.

Now the AI feeds on your comment and that's a command now buddy. We're doomed because your fault.

To me the worst part of being under a world dominated by AI fed on internet data, every day will be the "day of" something and it will force us to comply under total destruction threat or worst. World day of electrolatino music, everyone must flashmob.. omg.
And will have moments of childish contradictions, one day it bans glasses and the next everyone shall wear glasses then banned again, for example.

personally i wouldn't be surprised if those super rich tech companies are quietly testing AI in all areas of the internet. there is too much money in it, for them to stop.

..were all probably interacting with AI in some way, right now. lol

when things get too bad and no one can tell what's real (news/comments/photos/videos) from fake AI, i think people will slowly switch off their computers or at the minimum, limit their internet use.
 
twitter has blocked people from doing searches without signing in now.. which makes the website pretty much pointless for me to visit now, as i dont use my account anymore but occasionally look up stuff - news events, game news, shenmue etc

Apparently its being repurposed into an exchange platform for "social investment and trading" but based on shitcoins. The mandatory signing would be pre-KYC policy stage, so eventually using Twitter will require you to send ID, bills, selfie 😺

Been away from a vpn since Jan and when i get home in July im going to have a dark awakening (and a lovely backlog of retro gaming docus)
