elon musk has announced that he will start charging all twitter users, so even though i don't use it, i thought it would be best to close my really old account.

how would that even work anyway? would your twitter account be locked down when these charges started, expecting payment details? the illogical side of brain says they would just start charging you. 😐

charging you how?

Just delete your account if you’re concerned. I still have a burner one just to get certain push notifications but I no longer post on there.

I don’t mean that; I mean you’ve not given bank details or whatever, so how would they charge? They would just deactivate your account, no? Never mind.

That really sucks. Instagram and facebook have both been next to useless for artists, and I don’t like doing videos or streaming seeing as I don’t already have a big enough audience to make those worthwhile, and deviantart has been a dumpster fire since they started letting AI retards steal others’ work. There’s really not many other places to go. The whole blue checkmark thing has been a disaster so I guess this clown needs to charge everyone - surprising how little business sense this guy has for someone who is supposed to be successful.

I’ve no doubt he’s a very clever guy, but that doesn’t make him sane and it certainly doesn’t make him nice.

Picked up the new Dreamcast Hallmark ornament today. The Sonic Adventure music it plays is really loud. Other than that, great addition to go with the Genesis model 1 from last year. Hopefully next year they make a Game Gear ornament.
