Haha. Perhaps for the best… standard for this country, nothing works properly and it seems recently everyone stopped trying at work, like your HR people.
 
I just woke up from a dream and it was about me going to Japan something I've wanted to do my whole life and being 100 percent overwhelmed with everything. I remember in my dream being happy about going to take the Shenmue pilgrimage at some point during my travels that was my only happy moment.

I wasn't afraid Not at all of Tokyo or the size/population of the cities and places i was visiting. but considering I didn't know japanese and it was insanely difficult just getting around in general. I couldn't figure out how the train card worked to save my life.

I was absolutely terrified of missing the trains in my dream. I was having conversations with some other foreigners i had met we were all waiting for the train and we were just swapping missing the last train at night stories. It was odd.

That's a cool dream. Hopefuly you make it real soon without any mobilty issues.
I had a lucid one with Shenmue 1 Yokosuka very long ago. It was in Dreamcast graphics, empty of people and couldn't enter interiors :p. Kind of frustrating but merry compared to late lucid ones with Temple Gate village (populated by cultists) or driving in UK.

i just learnt ryuichi sakamoto died this year. :disappointed:

i've been listening to his music for many years. his piano music was amazing.

really sucks i didn't find out sooner but it wasn't reported on the junk news website i visit.

Today is the relaunch of the Wilko brand of shops in the UK ( bit like Target for anyone from the US) been down in Exeter for two weeks setting the store up.

Hey guys! Long time since I checked in.

Life's been pretty busy so lets get straight to the BIG news.

I'm going to New York next month to meet Ex-WWE Divas Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson among many others. :oops:

So...how did this come about? I think I've mentioned in the Health and Fitness thread that I run a fan page dedicated to Stacy Keibler on Instagram and that I'm pretty friendly with Torrie as she has been mentoring and keeping watch over me in my weight loss journey. The fan page on IG is pretty sizeable. I have 30k followers and it is followed by Stacy Keibler's official IG account. The best mark of approval you could ever hope for!

Long and short of it, Stacy and Torrie are making an appearance at an Autograph signing in New York in March. Being that I run a fan page dedicated to Stacy, I decided to go hardcore with promoting the shit out of this. Because anyone who knows Stacy knows that a rare, RARE occurrence! She does not do fan conventions! Has not done one in over a decade.

So I decided to promote the shit out of it seeing that page is all about supporting Stacy.

That caught the attention of the Event Promoters who are now following said page. They were impressed with the videos I was making to promote Stacy and Torrie and decided to ask me whether I could make some videos promoting some of their other guests as well. So I took the opportunity and ran with it and started making videos to promote some of the other guests attending.

I was lamenting to them that I couldn't make the trip to New York as it was just a bit tad out of my price range in such short notice. A few days later I received a DM from the organisers with a deal. They offered to pay for my airfare and provide VIP passes to Stacy and Torrie :oops: In exchange for me making videos for them.

At first I thought it was way too good to be true but another day or two passed and I had a paid plane ticket sent to me by them. :oops:

So the only thing I have to cover is my accommodation and travel expenses.

But yeah, this fan page shit actually paid off BIG TIME! :oops: And I'm going to get one of my many dreams next month. I'm going to meet Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson in person!!!!!!!!

WHAT THE FUCK MAN! Excuse my language but yeah I still don't believe it! They PAID for an airfare! They actually fucking paid! I didn't think they would do it but I have the ticket as paid by them!

I'M GOING TO NEW YORK NEXT MONTH TO MEET STACY KEIBLER AND TORRIE WILSON!!!!!
