Virtua Fighter 2 (PC) -- Found this gem today at a local thrift store for $1.50...so I decided to give it a new home. I have no idea if my current modern day PC will still run this, but I will try installing it later on and let you know.

Look through the files for that VF2 disc...there are some interesting concepts that are clearly VFRPG.

Curious myself now :)

It's all been Xbox This month:

The Game Collection had some ridiculous Xbox One deals:

Highly recommend State of Mind to people who enjoy Quantic Dreams type of games - Very similar to Detroit on a lesser budget but Great!

Also got some backwards compatible titles, very interest in Deadly Premonition to see how it handles compared to the unplayable PS3 version.

anywhere in particular I should look? We talking images or code or what not?
You should be able to just go into Windows Explorer or Finder or whatever and look around in the files. I can't remember where exactly, but my disc had a few of the VF Portrait Series images on there, and some of those are Akira in his white shirt and jeans like Ryo, holding the bag.

LRG ADK- PS4
LRG Jupiter & Mars- PSVR
LRG Lifeless Planet Premium Edition- PS4
LRG Polybius- PSVR
LRG Alvastia Chronicles- PS4
(2) Shenmue 3- PC
Moero Chronicle Hyper- Switch
Mary Skelter 2- Switch
Thea: The Awakening- Switch
LRG Blasphemous- Switch
LRG Stranger Things 3: The Game- Switch

Unfortunately one of my Shenmue 3 copies arrived damaged. I'll be reaching out to Fangamer asap.

Ahhh, so it has the VF CG portraits on it? I should have guessed considering this version of the game is based on the Saturn port (or I assume it is as I haven't tried to install it yet, but if it is the original PC port then I know it's based on the Saturn port)

Not all of them from what I can remember, but maybe. It's been years since I've seen my copy. :(

Doom Eternal + Doom 64 download. Gonna pretend all the demons have Conoravirus and Doomslayer is one mighty pissed off NHS worker

With all this Coronavirus shit going on. I decided I'm maybe going to double dip

-- Final Fantasy VII Remake -- I have the physical special edition on order from Play Asia, but with all this chaos going on at the moment, I decided to spend the extra cash and buy it again on PSN as well. Maybe I'll leave that special edition sealed when it arrives then.

-- Persona 5 Royal -- Grabbed it on the PSN...same Coronavirus reason. I still have my steelbook on order from Amazon. But at least I know the digital edition will be there and ready to go. I very rarely double dip, but for Persona 5 and FFVII remake, I'll make that exception.

-- Resident Evil 3 Remake -- Canned my Amazon order and bought it on PSN instead. Doesn't bother me not having a physical for it. I bought Resident Evil 2 on PSN as well so not having the physical for this really doesn't bother me. The demo for it really is solid. Nemesis is fucking terrifying in the way he moves.

-- Street Fighter Anniversary Collection -- It was $18 on the latest PSN sale. I've been meaning to pick it up for ages. Rectified.

Some more things for the backlog:
DSC_0570.JPG

Sega Touring Car Championship (Saturn, 1997):

Everyone says it runs at a terrible framerate, but I honestly don't see any framerate issues. Looking forward to trying it!

Enduro Racer (Master System, 1987):

Had no idea this was a Yu Suzuki game! (or, I think I did, but it was in my subconscious lol). This should be a delightful romp.

Shellshock (Saturn, 1995):

Despite what everyone says about it not being stellar, it looks awesome and I can't wait to start it! Have been trying since September to find a decent-priced copy... Too bad the JP version and the multitude of German versions of the game aren't in English :(

F1 World Grand Prix II (Dreamcast, 2000):

The best F1 game on the DC, covering the era that is my second favourite of the sport.

Frame rate isn't so much an issue, but the controls? Well, I hope you either have the steering wheel or Saturn 3D pad, because the sensitivity on a regular Saturn pad is insane on that game. Over steering is all too easy and will fuck your race completely up. Plays best with the steering wheel, is acceptable with the 3D pad once you adapt and is a nightmare to play on a regular Saturn pad.

I have the 3D, so I'll give it a shot ;)

Just taking a bit of time away from any lengthy-gaming, after I spend so much time on RGGG7 and I need to swap CR2032s in my Saturn, which will require me to play at least 3 hours or so :$

I thought about waiting for the Trial of Mana, but after trying the demo it’s unfortunately not for me. It looks nice but I guess I just can’t get into the combat.

So I went with Dragon Quest 11 for Switch. Had played it pretty briefly on ps4 but decided to wait this version out hearing about new features...and then never got around to it. :p

Not knowing how things will go, I’d like to get Doom Eternal but I think I’ll just save what I can for Deadly Premonition 2 and No More Heroes 3 for the time being.
