I just got Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout Deluxe Edition, as well as all the DLC, in the PS4 summer sale that started today. Normally it would be over £80 for the lot but I got it all for around £50 which is pretty great. £80 was just out of my budget and I've been wanting to play this game since it was released last year.

Dusk Diver was fun, though I thought it kind of ended sooner than I thought it would unfortunately. Maybe there’ll be a sequel.

That's still on my "to get" list!

Isn’t a new atelier ryza coming out next year?

My Xbox One has been shelved for the last week cause I picked up another PS4 Slim last week to play some exclusives. The main decision to do this was Ghost Of Tsushima which I finished yesterday and was an amazing game. Playing Uncharted Lost Legacy and will either get to Horizon Zero Dawn next or Infamous First Light. All these bought digitally in the last week. On the rental side I mailed back some crap Switch games(Smash Bros and Mario Odyssey) and waiting on slow AF GameFly to send me my last 2 games before I cancel: Days Gone PS4 and The Last of Us 2 PS4. Not expecting to like TLOU2 from what I've seen, but enjoyed the original enough to give it a chance.

Gathered more Xbox/360 titles this week:

A lot of interesting stuff here:
Mass Effect - The Classics Re-release of the game has a 2nd Disc with the DLC!
Mafia II - Once again, The Classics Re-release of the game has a 2nd Disc with the DLC!
Lost Planet EC' Colonies Edition - This is a single disc release but has more DLC on the disc. Interestingly, it also has a new set of trophies from the original release nor does it recognise save data from the original release.

Sadly the Star Wars game isn't backwards compatible (The 1s Jedi Knight game is!) & I've heard Crash Nitro Kart is, but after booting the game mine gets stuck on the copyright information screen, so investigating this one further..

Still not thrilled with the outcome of this content being a book but at least it's not hidden in some Japanese Ultimainia we never seem to get our mits on!

Flicking through, the print looks very nice, it's certainly something I could sit down and read, but I haven't played the game since launch, so in order to do so I'd have to replay the whole game and DLC content we got before truly embracing it.

Been waiting for physical copy of Streets of Rage 4, looking forward to playing this with a buddy :)

I'm also interested in Ace Combat 7, never played a game like it and got a good deal on it recently.

Yeah I just had to get this and I know I am going to enjoy this one!!! Recommendation for anyone who was frustrated with the scarcity of this product? Be patient patient and more patient and it pays off!!! I say the same thing about someone trying to buy a Nintendo switch I do not recommend purchasing from scalpers.

Spent quite a bit today. Nothing physical though. Just Grand Theft Auto IV on PC, and both the new Samurai Jack game as well as Maneater on PS4. Had meant to get that but totally forgot about it. Next week I think I’ll put in my preorder for a physical copy of Yakuza 7, so hopefully it’ll show up by my birthday on Nov 21st

- Giraffe & Annika (Digital/Xbox One)
- Kandagawa Jet Girls: Racing Hearts Edition (Physical/PS4)
- Dusk Diver: Day One LE (Physical/PS4)
- Punch Line: Limited Edition (Physical/PS4)

The physical limited editions of the PS4 games actually worked out cheaper than buying them digitally (except KJG, but it was worth the extra £20 for the bonus stuffs.)

Oh no you didn't just buy that....

- Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (PS4) — put down a digital pre order for the cross gen version. I do tend to buy Call of Duty every year and make no apologies for it.

- Yakuza 7 (PC) — Put a second order down for the PC version. I’m still on the fence whether to play it on PS4 or go for that 120 frames goodness on PC. Oh well, I have it ordered on both. (Because I’m stupid like that)

Best Buy Shenmue 3 pre-order/reserve card

Elite Dangerous+Horizons expansion for the PC

Tomoyo After: It's a wonderful life multi language physical for the Switch(thank lord for playasia)

Akash: Path of the five for Switch

Tony Hawk 1 & 2 Premium Edition on Xbox One for $3.85

Assassins Creed Odyssey Ultimate Edition Xbox One for $3.85

I was looking forward to THPS very much and while it certainly delivered as a perfect remake of the first two games, the nostalgia ran out in about an hour, but at less than $4? Well worth the cost. It's amazing what 20 years can do to a persons attention span.

My first impression of AC Odyssey was bad, but going to give it another chance at this price.

Shadow of the Colossus and Last Guardian on sale at the PSN store, so I downloaded them for an ongoing digital evolution with my new SATA SSD. Finished restoring backup finally--holy crap! Judgement and Shenmue 3 load up in 7 seconds and even the GUI doesn't have as much of the 1-second delay when scrolling quick through the menu.

Being a 21 inch iMac and Mac mini user, 5400RPM are still good enough for 2.5 form factor HDDs with my very small footprint on desktops; barely scratch over 100GB and biggest app I load will be either OBS or GIMP. Gaming consoles I'm now officially sold on SSD and therefor digital. Still buy discs of Yakuza/Shenmue/Ico for collector purposes, though! Cannot wait to finally begin to backup my Dreamcast library with my BBA, then get a MODE.

7200RPM 2.5 drives are a luxury I reserve for my FireWire 800+USB3 enclosure. Soon enough I'll be getting a Thunderbolt 2 external, which will be worthy of SATA SSD throughput.

Bought 4 Xbox One games on a 4 for $20 'deal'. Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, Fast & Furious Crossroads, WWE 2K20, WWE 2K Battlegrounds. Here's hoping that WWE 2K Battlegrounds ends up being worth it(though I'm doubting it strongly). I honestly didn't have high expectations on any of these titles, but I figured at $5 each they would be worth it, so far 3 out of 4 are not. Sekiro is dull and boring(especially coming off of the perfection that is Ghost of Tsushima), WWE 2K20 is still as broken as it was when it came out and Fast & Furious Crossroads is like playing a really low budget poorly made PS2 game but at least it provides some comic relief in how bad it is.

I also picked up Tenchu Z for Xbox 360 awaiting it in the mail, I can't wait until it arrives. Hoping it's enjoyable or better than the original 4 games. Tenchu has never been amazing, but has always been solid and enjoyable.

Restored an extremely yellow Dreamcast :
