I have zero interest in Assassin's Creed. Respected the first one and like all the games in the second installments quite a lot but they just looked very samey from there. This game looks like a buggy mess and the combat looks no different from the very first game.
Valhalla does play like some trash game from 2005-2008 era when games as a whole went downhill. It's simply not an acceptable mode of combat physics for 2020.

This may be a while...
Had a choice between this, and possibly both Doom Eternal and the Serious Sam collection. Kinda figured I saw most of what I’d really get out of Doom even if I haven’t played it first hand, and played a couple of the SS games on 360 years ago and can’t recall whether I actually finished them. I did play and enjoy a bit of Oneechambara Z 2 Chaos so I figured this was new enough for me without taking too big a risk. Not much else I want left on the PS4 now aside from the Nier remake.

have you completed all those games on your shelf?
Haha, honestly, I think it's fair to say I've beaten half of them - I was surprised to learn how many I beat on that thread with the amount of PS4 we've completed. I have much more in storage - Sadly all my PS2 games, as there isn't a good way to Output them on a HDTV without an an expensive Framemeister.

Bought Red Dead Online. Not really a fan of online games, or cowboys to be honest, but the Red Dead games have always been well made at the least, and Rockstar doesn't typically make anything really bad so I figured I'd give it a shot for $4.99.

Considering checking out Jade Empire from the original Xbox era, but not sure it's worth the $10-$15. Has anyone played Jade Empire??

Bit late, but finally decided to buy Ghost of Tsushima. Always been meaning to try it out, but haven't gotten around to it. Priced pretty nicely on Amazon at the moment, at about £30.

Also picked up a copy of Yakuza 7/Like a Dragon. Again, really good price, about £27.

Just picked up Cyberpunk 2077 for $8. A safe enough price to 'taste test' this game. My expectations are to have a good time and most likely a one and done for me, but that it won't be anything over-the-top amazing like Shenmue or Ghost of Tsushima.

Red Dead Online - A little more disappointing than I expected from a Rockstar game, yet at the same time it's not bad. More fun than playing the snooze fest story campaign.

GTA Online - I finally decided to give GTA 5 Online a try. It's no where near as good as the story mode, but I do find it entertaining to some degree when played by myself. Playing with other people is unbearable as it's all about shooting each other and treating it like Call of Duty rather than a cooperative effort. Not bad for a freebie.

Trying to play Cyberpunk on PC made me realise just how much I needed an upgrade... so I just dropped more money than I care to admit on a Ryzen 5900x + motherboard, RAM and NVMe drive.

GPU upgrade will come later, partly because stock is non-existent atm and partly because I'm broke af now 😂
