Surely a lot of people go digital these days? I would say I get 60-70% of games on digital (including Shenmue cause amazon screwed my pre-order!)

i beat shenmue the other day, rushed through it a bit as i have never played shenmue 2 in english. looking forward to starting it next week when i have time :)

Played a couple of hours now of Shenmue I for the first time in a few weeks (had only played 3 hours since release of Shenmue I & II). With ner0's 16:9 fix and Dewey's restoration of the Japanese audio, it is pretty much the definitive Shenmue experience. Just one pretty big bug so far (move progression), one pretty big issue (frame pacing is still atrocious), along with a couple of minor niggles (should have d-pad prompts in Excite QTE instead of that hard to read analog stick icon, QTE Title simultaneous prompts still not working), but I doubt I'll be going back to the Dreamcast version any time soon! Looking forward to what the mod community is working on, and hopefully d3t can fix the frame pacing and the move progression

A new review of Shenmue I and II HD has emerged, this time from muycomputer.com.

A final score of 8.3/10. The article is in Spanish. The guy writing it likes the games but rightly (IMO) questions why there's no Spanish subtitles.
