I agree BlueMue. That’s definitely a broken feature. It was nice seeing how much your moves leveled up while you were training.
If the issue exist try contacting sega directly.
The thing is the less sales this game has the less likely we will ever see patches.
Sega would only focus on a game that sells well and ignore it if it doesn't.
They are working on updates through.

Yeah I was wondering too. It seems they only update after sleeping, wich is pretty sad.
But isn't also realism? You need to rest before you can reap the fruits of your labouring ?
Practice the guitar all day and suck.....wake up the next morning and suddenly play like Joe Satriani.
Nah, I don't think so.
As Blueman said:When i go to the thread I don't see "Fixed an issue in Shenmue 1 where sleeping would sometimes not update move experience"
I just had something weird happen. I leveled up tiger knuckle to where it’s orange. But now it’s back in the yellow like I’ve barely leveled it up. Anyone have that happen?
Is this common on Xbox One? Kinda scared to play now.
Yeah. I didn’t read those right the first time but when I went back and read them I realized it was the same issue I was having. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon.Just the other people posting about it in this thread.
I have put it in a report. Let's see if it reaches them and if they do anything about this.
It might very well be a design choice but one that I really don't dig, regardless of the apparently faster growth of the bars.
They didn’t bother fixing this bug with the patch. I trained up moves again and watched them evolve. Did it two days in a row. Each day I went out to train the moves had reset to their original first form even after training them individually at night. This may not bother many people, but training up moves and was a huge part of the game for me. Not sure what d3t was trying to do by changing this system but it’s awful.
