Not wanting to start anything but just chiming in my own two cents. What isn't a touchy subject these days?
Granted I have no idea what happened with the Covid stuff earlier with that Blixit guy, but just in general...people have become so touchy about most things that I honestly feel civil discussion is becoming more and more a thing of the past as we turn into irrational beings capable of only shouting, dismissal and partisan views. This is partially why I don't have a Twitter account because I can't stand the garbage going on over there, but that's another story. The with us or against us mentality has been on the rise more and more over the years and it is kind of tiring. Especially if you're someone like me who is just trying to find reason and civil discussion. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that's what happened here with the Blixit guy....I'm saying this as to what is going on in general in the world right now.
But that's just an answer to your question in general. I think over the last few years people have become more and more sensitive and more and more ready to jump at the slightest hint of discussion that is maybe in opposition. That's just my thought in general.
The virus is just another touchy subject that could possibly come back to peoples politics I'm afraid. Again, I'm not trying to further this or start shit, I'm just offering my perspective. Like I said, I have no idea what that Blixit guy wrote originally and I'm not trying to take sides here.
Anyways....
