That reminds me of when I got Ocarina of Time early as a kid, it was like two days before release when a store sold it. Nintendo got pissed off and banned said store to ever sell any Nintendo product ever again

Has it been broken, though? The picture above has been taken from a social media advert for a store in New York. The copy sold in Finland seems to be an isolated incident. And I'm sure James Reiner has got plenty of links in the Shenmue world so he could've got his copy from anywhere.

If you bring the release date forward, you are also alienating the Kickstarter backers.
